Apple Debuts the New AirPods Pro 3 With Stunning Features

Apple has announced the new AirPods Pro 3, the next generation of its award-winning wireless earbuds. This latest model introduces several novel features that redefine the personal audio experience. From a powerful new chip to a more inclusive design, Apple’s latest earbuds are truly impressive, delivering significant advancements in sound quality, intelligent functions, and user comfort.

This announcement marks a major update for the world’s most popular headphones. The new model brings incredible sound and the best in-ear Active Noise Cancellation. The new AirPods also feature a new design that fits more people. And for the first time users can also measure their heart rate during workouts. Live Translation also comes to AirPods, making it easier to talk with people who speak other languages.

Next-Level Audio with the new AirPods Pro 3

The new AirPods Pro 3 deliver a huge improvement in sound. Apple claims they have the world’s best in-ear Active Noise Cancellation, or ANC. This new system is, in fact, up to two times more effective than the previous generation.

This powerful ANC is possible because of several upgrades. A new multiport acoustic design controls how sound flows into your ear, which helps create a better spatial listening experience. It works with a next-generation Adaptive EQ to deliver richer bass and clearer vocals, so you can ultimately hear every instrument with amazing detail.

Transparency mode also gets an update that now makes your own voice sound more natural when you speak. This helps you stay aware of your surroundings without feeling disconnected. The battery life has also seen a significant improvement, with up to eight hours of listening time with ANC turned on.

A Redesigned Fit for Unmatched Comfort

Apple has changed the design of the new AirPods Pro 3. The goal was to make them fit more people naturally. The new shape is smaller and more secure, so, as a result, they feel more stable in your ear. This is great for activities like running or yoga.

To create this new fit, Apple did a lot of research. They used over 10,000 ear scans and 100,000 hours of user research to find the best shape. Apple also used an unparalleled dataset of more than 300 million points to improve the external geometry of the ear tip, aligning with the center of the body for better stability.

Apple also changed the ear tips, which now use a foam material and come in five sizes, including a new, very small XXS size. It’s now easier for everyone to find a perfect seal. The new AirPods are also tougher., with an IP57 rating for sweat and water resistance, so you can use them in bad weather or during hard workouts without worry.

The new AirPods Pro 3 are Your Perfect Workout Partner

Admittedly the new AirPods Pro 3 are a great choice for exercise. Apple says more people work out with AirPods Pro than any other headphones, and they are now getting even better for fitness.

For the first time these AirPods have a heart rate sensor. It is Apple’s smallest sensor ever and uses invisible light to measure your heart rate. This works with other sensors and your iPhone to track your activity. As a result, you can track over 50 different types of workouts right from the Fitness app, where you can see calories burned and also close your Move ring.

Apple is also releasing a new feature called Workout Buddy. This tool uses Apple Intelligence to give you personal motivation during your workout. Apple Fitness+ users, moreover, can see their live stats on the screen, including heart rate and calories as they exercise.

An Improved Hearing Health Experience

Apple is also adding more hearing health features to the new AirPods Pro 3. Following new certification, Hearing Protection is now coming to users in the EU and UK. This feature helps minimize your exposure to loud sounds in your environment.

The Hearing Test is also improved. It is easier than ever to take a test from home and get personal results, thanks to the new, more powerful noise cancellation. For those who use hearing aids, Conversation Boost is now automatic. This feature amplifies voices in loud places like restaurants and helps you hear conversations more clearly.

A big increase in battery life for Transparency mode is another key improvement. It is now 67 percent longer than the previous generation, which gives you up to 10 hours of use on a single charge.

Intelligent Communication with Live Translation

The new AirPods Pro 3 also help you talk with more people. A new feature called Live Translation is now available in beta and will soon be rolled out with the upcoming software updates. This hands-free tool uses Apple Intelligence to help you communicate even if you do not speak the same language.

Using the feature is simple. You just speak naturally with your AirPods in. If the other person does not have AirPods, you can use your iPhone, where the screen will show what you are saying in their language. Then, when they reply, you hear the translation in your AirPods.

The experience is even better when two people both use the feature. The built-in noise cancellation lowers the other person’s live voice, so it is consequently easier to focus on the translated audio. Live Translation works with English (UK, US), French (France), German, Brazilian Portuguese, and Spanish (Spain) to start, with more languages to be added later this year.

Pricing, Availability, and Environmental Commitment

You can order the new AirPods Pro 3 starting today, and they will be available in stores beginning Friday, September 19. The starting price in the U.S. is $249, and they will launch in over 50 countries and regions.

Apple also highlighted its focus on the environment as part of the company’s plan to be carbon neutral by 2030. These new AirPods use a lot of recycled materials. The battery, for example, uses 100 percent recycled cobalt, and the case uses 65 percent recycled plastic.

The packaging is also eco-friendly. It is made from 100 percent fiber-based materials and is easy to recycle, as part of the continuous on-going commitment with environmental best-practices.
